With large numbers of men and women in active service today Help for Heroes is rightly the charity of the moment. It needs our help more than ever. All the support the charity receives however small or large is hugely appreciated.

If you are unable to attend Vintage & Valour but would like to show your support for Help for Heroes make a donation here https://www.bmycharity.com/V2/vintageandvalour

Kate and Georgie are also running a half marathon in October also in aid of Help for Heroes and if you would like to sponsor us for that please go to www.bmycharity.com/V2/georgieandkate

Why Help For Heroes need our support:
H4H needs to raise £20 million, over the next two years! This money is desperately needed to support:

  • The ‘Welfare Pathway’ vision which aims to provide continuous support to the wounded, injured and long-term sick personnel (both regular and mobilised reserves). Welfare Pathway will help these British citizens to return to duty or retrain for a civilian career.
  • Plans for the first Pathfinder Centre to be operational as early as August 2009. This Centre will provide a home for the wounded where they can continue to recuperate within a caring, home-like environment that will facilitate their swiftest possible recovery.
  • Roll out more Pathfinder facilities across the UK with Erskine and the MOD

Help for Heroes (H4H) was launched in October 2007 in response to the desire for ordinary people to do something practical to help wounded servicemen and women.
